This evening Venus will arrive in Aquarius, the sign of humanism, the collective, intellect, groups, and community. Venus in Aquarius is very egalitarian. She sets her own style. She’s a bit funky, futuristic, eccentric, and a trendsetter. She doesn’t play by the normal rules. But Venus is much more than style and aesthetic. She’s what we attract, love, and value and for the next four weeks we’re all seeing the value of equity as well as helping our fellow man.
We have to keep in mind that Venus’s journey will be influenced by Saturn’s long term stay in Sagittarius. (Aquarius is ruled by Saturn. Rulerships are about a transmission of energy from one sign to another.) So, what does Saturn say about Venus’s journey through the 11th sign of the zodiac? For all of Aquarius’s emphasis on the collective and humanity, the next few weeks will be an examination of our faith, our commitment, and beliefs. But it’s not just our beliefs, it’s collective beliefs, collective faith. We have to come together to help each other, guided by our own principles and ethics. Take note of Aquarius’s shadow though — separation, disassociation, inhumanity. Instead, find value in Aquarius’s highest expression — unity.
