The Moon moves between Libra and Scorpio today, between relationships and intimacy, connection and vulnerability. Additionally, Venus squares the Lunar Nodes. We may be at a crossroads in a relationship. We’re reevaluating, focusing on our own needs.
Venus is a bit feisty in Aries. No longer as accommodating when it was in Pisces, it instead is going after what it wants and standing up for itself. With the Moon is wrapping up its time in Libra today, the sign of relationships and connection, we may find that our interactions with people are bold and lively. But there may be friction, too.
The Scorpio Moon, however, is a reminder that Mars is wrapping up its time in Sagittarius, a sign it’s been in since January 3. In Sagittarius, Mars is up for adventure, exploration, and discovery. But when it arrives in Capricorn on February 16, it’s entering a sign that gives it strength. (We say in astrology that Mars is exalted in Capricorn.) Mars does some of its best work in Capricorn. It takes its drive and motivation and puts it towards goals and personal excellence.
Mars will also activate the energy of recent eclipses, bring forward events that began in December and January. As a result, the second half of February will likely be a busy month as we apply Mars towards what we’ve been working and building since Saturn arrived in Capricorn in the start of 2018.
