We’re coming up on a crossroad this week. With the Sun approaching Saturn this Saturday, December 10, we’re feeling time, we’re feeling responsibility, and we’re feeling a need to make a decision — one that touches on faith, truth, and meaning. Don’t be surprised if you’re thinking about the big picture this week. As in … What am I doing? Why am I here? What does this all mean? Is this it?
Saturn can weigh down on us like a ton of bricks, but, as I was explaining this week to a friend going through his Saturn Return, I’m actually a big advocate of Saturn — good Saturn, healthy Saturn. And what is healthy Saturn? When we’re working with Saturn, this archetypical force of time, aging, maturity, we’re growing up. We’re bringing order and structure to our lives. Saturn’s reputation for struggle and endurance is the force that pushes us harder, higher, and towards our potential. Saturn is, after all, the planet of mastery.
So, what are you mastering this week? Or, rather, what big story is coming to fruition this week or to the next milestone — a story that began in 2015? The Sun’s arrival at Saturn may feel like a graduation. Pay attention to what you’re feeling this week and what you’re working on or pushing to completion.
On a personal note, filed under Saturn Isn’t A Bad Guy, I’m pushing a book to completion this week. I’ve also been teaching and working as a mentor to a growing group of astrology students. Sagittarius is publishing, higher education, wisdom, knowledge. And I’m taking this journey to the next milestone. I hope you all are as well.
It is so true! My internship is going to end this week and my mentor will make observations and report it to the boss.
Congratulations on your book! Can’t wait to read it!
