We start the week with an Aquarius Moon, one that points us towards the systems and networks that we’re a part of, whether it’s our social circle and community or the issues and causes that unite — or divide — us all. Aquarius is the sign of humanity.
I mention this because, as we get up to the September 2 Pisces Full Moon, we’re reaching into a part of the zodiac that speaks to broad themes and archetypes. With Aquarius, we’re no longer individuals; we’re part of a group, a society, a collective. It’s not what just concerns you, but what concerns all of us. There can be a great sense of shared humanity in Aquarius. But, as we know so well, there’s a lot separating us right now.
Pisces, on the other hand, speaks to emotions on a collective level. It’s not my feelings; it’s the feelings of humanity. It’s the empathy and compassion needed to understand that someone else’s suffering is equal to our own. So with the full moon stirring up collective archetypes and emotions, we may be navigating things this week that speak to our shared humanity and our shared emotional connection.
This week the Sun is also coming up to what’s called The Bending, which means it’s squaring the Lunar Nodes. When this happens it means that we’re at the midpoint between eclipses, the next ones arriving in late November and mid December 2020. So we may be at a turning point this week. Or events may thread their way back to June and July, to the previous eclipse season.
