Uranus, the planet of consciousness and awakenings stationed retrograde in Aries yesterday. This ignites a restless, potentially disruptive energy to an already high voltage month. Something is changing and this wave will carry us into the eclipses on August 7 and 21.
As I’ve mentioned previously, eclipses occur every six months so they’re aren’t a rare event. In astrology they function as harbingers, a signal that it’s time to turn a corner and welcome in a new phase of life. But as something comes in, something may leave in return. Eclipses are one of the great timers of our lives.
Also note that Uranus is wrapping up its run in Aries, a sign it’s occupied since March 2011. On a global level we’ve seen revolution, uprising, and instability. On a personal level there’s an area of our life that has irrevocably changed. If you are an Aries yourself, you’re likely a completely different person.
So, hang on. Life is turning a corner.
PS — I’m doing a webinar version of the eclipse workshop I hosted recently. If you’re one of the many people asking me to record it or do an online version, here is your chance! The webinar is scheduled for Sunday, August 6 at 4 pm New York time, 1 pm Los Angeles, 9 pm London, and 10 pm Paris. If you can’t make it live, you will get a recorded version with your registration. Details here.
