How has your view of the world changed over the last two years? Has your faith been rattled? Or have you had to remake your beliefs? The Moon’s alignment with Saturn in Sagittarius today may bring a need for commitment as well as emotional heaviness.
Sagittarius, one of the last zodiac signs, is the first to point us beyond the personal. Scorpio, the sign before Sagittarius, deals with the intimacy and emotional awareness that is created from interacting with people as well as romantic partners. But when we get to Sagittarius, we’re starting to deal in much broader themes — truth and how our experiences shape our outlook in life. For that Sagittarius is philosophy, religion, higher education, and foreign travel.
The Moon’s monthly line up with Saturn is a check in with these existential themes. Sagittarius has a tendency to think it knows it all, but Saturn’s long journey through the sign has been a wake up call for all of us. We need to define what we believe in, but we also need to be open to new ideas.
PS — I’m doing a webinar version of the eclipse workshop I hosted recently. If you’re one of the many people asking me to record it or do an online version, here is your chance! The webinar is scheduled for Sunday, August 6 at 4 pm New York time, 1 pm Los Angeles, 9 pm London, and 10 pm Paris. If you can’t make it live, you will get a recorded version with your registration. Details here.
