The Moon rounds out its time in Taurus today, fresh off Wednesday’s new moon. It’s still time to plant new seeds, new ideas, and new initiatives, especially around money, food, and resource. This weekend may bring a jolt as the Sun and Uranus align.
When I wrote about the Taurus New Moon one of the things I mentioned was that there was a potential for a shake up or plot twist in the coming days and weeks. Why? Because the new moon was conjunct (aka in the same place in the sky) as Uranus, the planet of awakenings, surprises, plot twists, revolution, and breakthroughs.
This weekend, on Sunday, the Sun and Uranus line up in Taurus, a combination that may either be like a proverbial lightbulb going off or the lightning bolt of new awareness and ideas. Like mythical Prometheus, Uranus brings fire and light to the dark. What we then see can be illuminating or shocking and chaotic.
Speaking of bringing light to the dark, Pluto turns retrograde on Saturday, April 25 at 25 degrees Capricorn. Pluto stations have a habit of bringing the shadow self or unhealed or saboteur self to the surface. As a result, it’s been a week saturated with emotional and psychological subtext. Something deep from the soul may have come to light so that we can see it, work on it, and heal it.
What soul themes have you seen come up? My spirit guides once called Pluto the mirror for the soul. This is a weekend to gaze into ourselves as well as an opportunity to powerfully shift something, especially as the Sun and Uranus bring light — as well as a push — to leave the past behind.
