We start the weekend with the Moon in Cancer, a moon that would rather stay at home where it’s safe and warm. After all, with all the seismic ups and downs of this week, what’s better than spending a night in or snuggling up to a loved one?
Speaking of which, Venus, after nearly a month in Gemini, arrives in Cancer on May 19, a sign that it has some affinity with. Wherever Venus is in the sky shows us what we’re naturally attracted to and what we love. With Venus in Cancer, we love a good home-cooked meal. We love emotional connection and the feeling of having the people we love near. It loves to take care and it loves to nest. Although you may have been born with Venus in a very different sign, Venus’s journey through the zodiac gives us a chance to express love and connection in all its forms.
If you are an astrology student, note that Taurus is ruled by Venus. So this Uranus in Taurus era will really dig into Venusian issues around value, connection, relation. And wherever Venus is in the sky will directly thread back to Uranus in Taurus. (Gotta love those rulerships.) When Venus arrives in Cancer on Saturday, Uranus in Taurus will get a shot of cardinal energy. We’re seeing our Uranus in Taurus story — only just begun — kick into a new chapter. Since it picks up sextile energy, we may see a new opportunity on Saturday to powerfully move forward.
Speaking of Saturday, this is last call to register for my webinar on Uranus in Taurus, which many of you already have. I’ll go through what this means for each sign plus what this new era means for us collectively. You’ll also get to ask questions, too. Cost is $20 USD and comes with the recording, which is great if you can’t attend live. Details and registration here.
