Saturn turns retrograde at 14 Aries this weekend, one of the big checkpoints for our year as well as a story that will unfold into 2028. The coming days may bring personal achievements, titles, milestones, commitments, and endings. It’s a call for responsibility.
When I look at the year ahead, the stations of Saturn — Saturn Retrograde, Saturn Direct — are one of the things I first look at. Saturn is the master timekeeper. It sets the time, both personally and collectively. The two dates that Saturn turns retrograde (July 26, 2026) and direct (December 10, 2026) act as structural points for our year. The energy of time builds around these dates; the week before and after are often significant in some way.
Saturn has been in Aries since February 13, a starting point for a story that will unfold into April 13, 2028, when Saturn leaves Aries. Note that Saturn made a preview of Aries from May 24, 2025 to September 1, 2025, and the retrograde station at 1 Aries on July 13, 2025 may have been a significant time. (Saturn turned direct at 25 Pisces on November 27, 2025.)
So, if Saturn in Aries is a call for us to step into a role of maturity and leadership, then we may be experiencing events that mark this story. Or, if it’s a time to know our limits and boundaries, then it may be a sobering next few days. Saturn often accompanies the major milestones of our lives — engagements, career changes, moves, births, hard earned awards, and changes in status. (Read Saturn in Aries: Sign by Sign.)
This weekend, honor time. Put things in order. Prioritize the things in life that need more time, dedication, and attention. Seek maturity.
Additionally, the Lunar Nodes switch signs this weekend, trading Pisces-Virgo for Aquarius-Leo on July 26. The Lunar Nodes are the axis of fate. They change signs every 18 months, and move our personal and collective compass towards these new signs. Because the Lunar Nodes makes eclipses happen, the signs of Aquarius and Leo will be focal points for notable change into the end of 2027.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for July 25-27, 2026.
