Welcome to Leo Season! The Sun trades water for fire today, coming home to the sign it rules. It’s a season to refind our joy, passion, creativity, and to express ourselves. With a Leo solar eclipse just three weeks away, these themes will take center stage.
Leo is the fifth sign of the zodiac. When we reach Leo, we’ve left the first stage of the zodiac — Aries through Cancer — four signs that reflect the fundamentals of our lives and the building blocks of our personality. Leo is the sum total of these building blocks, forming our persona and identity.
When we reach Leo Season, we aren’t automatically confident and assured of who we are. But it is an invitation to come back to ourselves and to prioritize what lights us up and gives us joy. For that Leo is a season of play, fun, and leisure. It’s no coincidence that this is a time when we take vacations and holidays.
As mentioned, we are only a few weeks away from a solar eclipse, which will be a Leo solar eclipse on August 12 at 20 degrees. Not only will these Leo energies and archetypes come to the forefront, the Leo part of our astrology will see change over the next six months, if not already.
