The Moon trades Gemini for Cancer, a sign where the Moon can play off of some of the best traits of Taurus. It’s a day to slow down, to invest in what is truly important, and to spend time with loved ones. Conversations may touch on emotional and nostalgic themes.
Perhaps we need a moment to catch our breath. The April 17 Aries New Moon followed by the April 19 Mars-Saturn conjunction may have been intense for some. Even with the demands for increased responsibilities, we can take a cue from the Taurus Sun and the Cancer Moon to make sure we are tending to our own needs and making sure that we have necessary support.
That said, we will be coming up to the first-quarter moon over the next couple of days, a time when the seeds of the Aries New Moon may come more into focus. For example, if Aries is the sign of new beginnings, then the first-quarter moon may make these new beginnings a reality.
It may not seem so at the moment, but April is a crossroads. When we look back, we will see the start of new initiatives, personal milestones, and the foundations of new chapters that will take us into the coming years.
