The Astrology of March 27, 2026

We go into the weekend with a Leo Moon, one that adds fire to Aries Season, a Moon that inspires and motivates, that wants to play and have fun. With a February solar eclipse still setting the tone, we continue to revisit larger themes around identity and self.

Leo will play a major role in the astrology of 2026, more so in the second half of the year. First, with Jupiter’s arrival in Leo on June 30. Then with the South Node in Leo on July 26 followed by a Leo solar eclipse on August 12.

What is Leo? It’s the sign of the Sun. In its highest expression, Leo is a creative force, a light that connects us back to the light of source. Even if we do not have anything in Leo, we have a Sun sign, whether that Sun is in Virgo, Cancer, or Aquarius, for example. The Sun shines its light through that sign. And, hopefully, we shine as well.

So, the Moon will be crossing territory that will be revisiting on a larger scale come the second half of the year. Take note of themes and experiences over the next couple of days. These themes may center around identity and self expression, passion and the spark of life, creativity and children, or the importance of being seen.
