Saturn turns retrograde this weekend, a checkpoint with a planet known for milestones and achievements as well as limits and boundaries. As a result, don’t cut corners this weekend. Honor commitments and responsibility. Be accountable to yourself.
It’s no secret that I love Saturn because it plays such a major role in our lives. (See: The Saturn Return.) What I’ve noticed time and again is to pay attention to the days when Saturn turns retrograde and direct. This happens on two days each year; Saturn turns retrograde and then, four and a half months later, Saturn turns direct.
Those two days each year and the days that fall around them are structural points in our year. Meaning, typically symbolic events occur around these days that pick up on a greater theme, depending on where Saturn is transiting your astrology. For example, the Saturn Retrograde is when you decide to move and then Saturn Direct is when you move.
Ever since May 24, 2025, Saturn is in Aries. And while Saturn will only be in Aries until September 1, it will return to the sign in February 2026 and remain until February 2028. So with Saturn turning retrograde on July 13, we’re getting a look at what Saturn in Aries may mean for us into 2028.
Wherever Saturn is in our astrology, whether at birth or in the sky at the moment, is a priority for us. Take note of what is coming up as a priority for you. It’s part of a larger story.
I did a whole 3-hour webinar on Saturn in Aries, half of which is a sign-by-sign guide. You can watch the introduction as well as get the full webinar in the link below.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for July 12-14, 2025.
