Venus joins up with Uranus, an electrifying duo that marks one of the finales of Uranus in Taurus. A story that began in 2018, 2019 begins to come to a close. We are not the same people we were then. Today is a reminder to live that change.
It’s been six, seven years of Uranus in Taurus. When I wrote about its arrival in Taurus back in 2018, I likened it to an earthquake. Taurus, as the first earth sign, is the earth beneath our feet, our stability and security, our relationship with the material plane at its most primal. Uranus, an evolutionary planet, always shakes up the sign that it is in.
At the core of Uranus in Taurus has been to change what we value. Of course, we all have lived this change differently. If you are a Taurus, this change has been personal, revelatory, and perhaps earth shattering. If you are a fixed sign of Leo, Scorpio, or Aquarius, what was locked down and rock solid seven years ago may not seem so much any more. (Read Uranus in Taurus: Sign by Sign.)
When Uranus changes signs on July 6-7, it brings this evolutionary energy to Gemini, an air sign, a sign of duality, communication, and the mind. Over the next seven years, how we think, move, travel, and how we communicate will change. And if you are a Gemini, life will begin to go in a new direction.
As I mentioned yesterday, Neptune turns retrograde today at 2 Aries. We may be feeling extra sensitive, dreamy, or even ungrounded.
And, after Venus joins up with Uranus, it arrives in Gemini today where it will remain until July 30. If Venus is what we love and what we value, then in Gemini we love socializing and connection, grace and charm, flirtatious banter, freedom and movement, and one in every color.
