We start the week off with a laser-focused Moon in Virgo, one that picks up on Mercury opposite Pluto. It’s a day for deep conversations, for choices motivated by stability and security, for cleaning out and sweeping away the past.
This week the Moon is doing most of the talking, taking us to the first-quarter moon tomorrow. We will begin to see what this recent Cancer New Moon was all about and what it brought to the forefront.
That said, we do have a couple of notable astrology on the horizon.
First, Neptune turns retrograde at 2 Aries on July 4, an influence that pulls at the veil, that digs into deep emotions, and illuminates our intuition and dreams. Neptune can lift us and pull us down in equal measures, the swell of the tide.
What we really need to tune into is the fact that this is one of our first real connection points with Neptune in Aries, a sign that Neptune entered on March 30 for the first time since 1875. (Read Neptune in Aries: A New Dawn)
Unfortunately, Neptune isn’t overt. It’s subliminal, atmospheric, and veiled. We have to feel into the emotions that may be coming up to sense what needs compassion and healing. (Read Neptune in Aries: Sign by Sign)
Then there’s Uranus in Gemini on July 6-7. This is the headliner for July, the arrival of a planet that has not been in Gemini since 1941-1949. An area of our lives governed by Gemini is on the edge of a complete reinvention. Perhaps we’re sensing something on the horizon, especially if we are a mutable sign (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces).
As a result, it may be a week where chapters come to a close and others are just beginning.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for July 1, 2025.
