The Moon is in Cancer as we start the week, a Moon that touches on the nostalgic and the familiar. Only a few days after a potent Taurus Full Moon, we may need this Moon to find our anchor, to make sense of recent shifts, to look outward for answers.
It’s also a good day to take a temperature read of our lives. A Cancer Moon is driven by getting its needs met. Which begs the question, what are our needs? Make a mental note or write down a list.
Uranus has been a featured planet over the past few days. As an evolutionary planet, Uranus shakes us up. It can agitate, but in a way that is necessary, especially if we are stuck. It can give us permission to make a big change or to be ourselves. All because Uranus demands authenticity, radically so. It breaks through artifice. It also breaks us from the past.
But Saturn has been a feature as well. Two different planets with two different agendas. If Uranus upends, Saturn stabilizes. It helps us to make plans, to think things out in an orderly and logical manner. While Saturn is in Pisces, a sign that relies more on intuition than logic, it means that we need to trust our gut and build our lives in alignment with our hearts.
So, considering our needs, use Saturn to map out actionable goals as well as next steps.
Today is also the last full day of Pluto in Capricorn. A cycle that began on January 26, 2008 comes to a close. A key part of our lives concludes its 16-year overhaul. We had deep karmic lessons to learn, perhaps around power, perhaps around relationships. And this was the time our souls needed to work on those lessons.
Pluto’s arrival in Aquarius tomorrow, November 19, marks a transition into a new era, one that we’ve been preparing for since 2023 and Pluto’s first arrival into the sign.
