Pluto turns retrograde in Aquarius, a point of transition in a new story that will unfold over the next two decades. While it’s early to see the elements of what Pluto in Aquarius will mean for us, look for the clues, the hints at a need for a restructure and change.

Yes, Pluto will be in Aquarius for 20 years. When it first arrived in Aquarius for a short period between March and June 2023, it was the first time Pluto had been in Aquarius since the 1780s and 1790s. Because Pluto is far out in our solar system and moves so slowly, it can spend between 10 and 30 years in one zodiac sign. (The last time Pluto changed signs was 2008, when it entered Capricorn.)

With that in mind, we’re in a new era. Or, rather, that overlap between a previous era and one to come. The lines of demarcation are not fixed. They push and pull with the movements of the planets.

When Pluto turns retrograde or direct, which it will on October 11, it saturates the collective unconscious and subconscious with its energies. Pluto is an evolutionary planet and it demands transformation. With its energies in and around us, look for opportunities to turn shadow into light. Look from messages that bubble up from the unconscious, a revelation of our hidden motives as well as our fears and insecurities.

Turn the mirror on yourself.
