The Moon arrives in Scorpio and we’re in the run up to tomorrow’s high powered Scorpio Lunar Eclipse at 14 degrees. With aspects to Uranus, this lunar eclipse may be a major pivot point for the year. Uranus wants us to shake us awake and get us to reinvent.
I wouldn’t underestimate this eclipse. That’s not to say that it will be felt equally by everyone — it depends on the specificity of our personal astrology — but it does provoke. Scorpio is a sign that hits on deep emotional points, points made more tender by Mars in Cancer square Chiron in Aries.
If you’re feeling your feelings, as they say, don’t be surprised. The connection to Mars in Cancer may mean that we’re navigating old emotions and memories as well as a primal need for support and care.
This eclipse picks up on Scorpio eclipses from May 16, 2022 and October 25, 2022. Because of that, we can’t see the events that fall around it in isolation. They’re part of a bigger story, especially with Uranus opposite the eclipse, in Taurus. You could argue that the story has been with us since May 2018, March 2019.
The coming days and weeks may be a catalyst.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for May 5, 2023.
