The Moon moves into Pisces and we pull inward to reflect, feel, and intuit. As we contemplate our direction for the coming weeks and months, how do we orient ourselves with our higher path, separating the needs of the ego versus something greater?
Many people come to me saying, “I don’t know which way to go. I feel stuck.” When this happens, we’ve lost touch with our internal GPS, that integral connection to both Source and the great plan for our lives. Although astrology can put us back in touch with a sense of direction and orientation, it can’t help us to feel that internal direction unless we work at and cultivate it.
At the heart of Gemini is a need to weigh our options and choices. So with today’s square between the Sun and Neptune in Pisces, we need to make sure our options and choices are aligned with the divine. We have free will, but sometimes our choices get us stuck or out of alignment with the path that was created for our lives.
I have a friend who, once upon a time, lost her dream job. She was broken hearted, but determined to stay in the same career field. She applied to job after job after job. Nothing. But she was still determined. At the time the career field she kept applying within was the only one she could see herself in.
Over the course of a year or so, she applied to 300 positions nationally. Nothing. A family friend then recommend she apply for a teaching position, which she did on a whim. It wasn’t what she wanted, but why not.
To her great surprise, she was accepted into the program and a job awaited her in another city. She moved, started working in a field that she didn’t even realize she would love so much, met her partner, got married, and the rest is history.
My point is that sometimes we stubbornly keep trying to force something. What happens when we just surrender and let our better angels present us with a different and better option?
