Things took a bit of a left turn. We may only be a day into Libra season, but Venus, the ruler of Libra, just went into Scorpio. Honestly, the two signs couldn’t be more different.
If Venus in Libra has a natural sweetness, charm, and a deft hand at diplomacy, then Venus in Scorpio is direct and raw. Venus as a planet describes how we relate to others and what we’re attracted to. Scorpio is known for its emotional intensity, its shadow, its obsession, and its need for undying commitment and total trust. So, over the next month, while the Sun is in Libra, we’re going to be getting a deep look at the dark side of love as well as power dynamics in relationships and our fears around intimacy and sexuality. Venus in Scorpio’s low side isn’t pretty — jealousy, manipulation, control, and destruction. But her high side is worth its weight in gold — unflinching intimacy, truth, loyalty, and a love that can withstand death.
