There’s something so final about the sign of Scorpio. Even though its a water sign — water is in correspondence with emotions — there’s a deep internal fire to it that consumes, transmutes, and opens up new space. I often say to my clients with a strong Scorpio in their chart that they have a choice on how to use this Scorpio energy — as a force destruction or as a force of creation. Both are equally valid, but creation is a lot more conscious than destruction for destruction’s sake.
I say all of this because we’re in the dark of the Moon, the final days and hours of the lunar cycle. While this is a time to let go, we’re on the cusp of a new moon in a sign that so deeply aligned with rebirth. In short, new beginnings will have to pass through Scorpio’s purifying energy, especially with Mars at the very end of Virgo. What will you be creating in the coming weeks?
