I’m having one of those days when I don’t know what to say. It’s not that there isn’t something interesting to share about today’s astrology, but it seems a little myopic to talk about the Sun and Pluto, Venus and Chiron when the world is clearly on fire.

The reason I do what I do, besides sharing something that is a passion, is that it is my wish that we take consciousness of ourselves. More specifically, that we take consciousness of the parts of us that hurt, that are mired in darkness, and hatred. It is my wish that we do this fearlessly, humbly. Why? Because we have to recognize and heal the parts of us that are reflected in the terrible events of the collective. We have to do the work on ourselves so that the world demands better.

There’s a short verse by the Roman poet Catullus that I keep going back to.

“Odi et amo. Quare id faciam fortasse requiris, nescio, sed fieri sentio et excrucior.”

“I hate and I love. Why I do this, perhaps you ask?
I do not know, but I feel it happening and I am tortured.”

The battle between good and evil is ultimately within us.

Pluto has been holding a mirror to us all week. How will we change our reflection?
