Today’s feisty Aries Moon is a reminder that the planet Uranus will turn retrograde on July 29. Why is this a reminder? Because Uranus has been heating up the sign of Aries since 2011. It’s been a chaotic, wild ride ever since.
Here’s the thing you need to know about outer planets. And when I say outer planets I mean Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Outer planets are agents of evolution, consciousness, and transformation. When they slowly enter a new sign or contact one of our planets in our birth chart, we know that it is time for change. It’s non-negotiable.
As I mentioned previously, Uranus has been moving through Aries since March 2011. (We got a dip in 2010.) If you’re Aries, this means that something about who you are and how you express yourself has to profoundly change. Uranus is the spark, it shakes you to be yourself, to cast off anything that is inauthentic, constrictive. Uranus is a shout for revolution on both a personal and collective level. For the rest of us, there’s a part of our chart that has Aries in it. Some corner of our life is radically different. We can’t go back.
When Uranus turns retrograde this Friday at 24 Aries, we’re going to feel this push to make a change yet again. In the run up, I’d reflect on what’s not working in your life, what’s too constrictive, not really you. Vision a new future.
