We’re in the gate for the next Mercury Retrograde. Perhaps you’re already feeling it, especially as Mercury dances around Pluto in Capricorn, this sense that something has to end. But before it does, we have to review and take consciousness of why.

One of the themes that has been coming up in my client work is this idea of changing the narrative. Meaning, if there is a past narrative around relationships, career, talents, and the self, how do you give yourself permission to leave it behind? I think that’s one of the main features of the upcoming Mercury Retrograde cycle, which Mercury helping us to look at how our choices have manifested in our lives and how we need to shift how we see the world and what we believe in courtesy of Saturn in Sagittarius. Although Mercury won’t make an exact conjunction to Pluto until January 29, I get the sense that Pluto is drawing a line. You can’t take these old ideas, old notions, old beliefs about yourself and the world with you into new year. But first, you’ll have to look at your shadow.

That said, Mercury is turning retrograde on Monday, December 19. You know the drill. Don’t freak out. Just reflect, contemplate, review, retrace. If things aren’t working out, how do you find a new path? Check out my Mercury Retrograde Survival Guide below.

Mars will also go into Pisces on Monday, December 19, wrapping up a journey it began on November 9 when it entered Aquarius. More on that later.
