After careful deliberation and reflection, Mars Direct turns direct at 8 Gemini after a two-month retrograde. This is a day when we may feel a rush of energy and forward movement after things quite not working out the way we’d like them to. Pace yourself.
All planets turn retrograde except for the Sun and Moon. This ebb and flow is part of the natural rhythm of life. And with Mars Retrograde, especially with a long square to Neptune, we’ve had to make peace with things not working out the way we’d like them to. If astrology is about time and our relationship with time, then perhaps the past couple of months have been a little frustrating.
This is also a Mars that has had to learn to hold its tongue and not rush to judgment. Did we learn anything? Make any insights? Just be careful not to blurt anything out after a couple of months restraining ourselves. (Read Mars in Gemini: Sign by Sign to see where Mars is activating your astrology.)
Note that Mars is spending a total of seven months in Gemini, the sign of communication, listening, and learning, first arriving on August 20. Mars in Gemini typically has a lot to say and loves the adrenaline of new experiences and variety. Then again, things have been running on their own time ever since Mars turned retrograde on October 30.
