Mercury arrives in Libra, joining the Sun. Over the next few days, we’re preparing for a solar eclipse. With Mercury in the mix, we may need to revisit past relationships or relationship patterns or existing relationship. We’re at an inflection point.
If you recall, we had an eclipse in Libra around this time last year. The October 14, 2023 solar eclipse at 21 Libra was part of a series of eclipses that have been bouncing back and forth between Libra and Aries since April 2023. Astrology often makes more sense in hindsight than in the moment. When you look back at the last year and a half, do you see any common themes?
Libra is often about relationships in all its forms, including community. But Libra can also mean a need to get things back into balance, to seek a way to harmonize, to negotiate, and to find common ground. Then again, we often feel the push to find common ground, etc because we’re in the midst of a conflict or disagreement, not because everything is quiet.
Both Venus is in Scorpio and Mars in Cancer at the time of next week’s October 2 solar eclipse at 10 Libra. Scorpio and Cancer are water signs, which means emotions may be higher than usual. Relationships are not just about spending time with people. It’s about forging emotional bonds built on trust and familiarity.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for September 27, 2024.
