The Moon shifts from Cancer to Leo, bringing some much needed fire to an otherwise watery sky. Leo activates desires and passions, creativity and inspiration. It also speaks to our duties and responsibilities as we reach the last-quarter moon.
It’s been a heck of a lunar month, one that began back on October 2 with a Libra New Moon solar eclipse. As you may know by now, eclipses — especially solar eclipses — swiftly usher in a new time or a new chapter, one that may be marked by personal and collective boldface events.
In the midst of all this, we’ve had a quiet sextile between Mars in Cancer and Uranus in Taurus. If Mars is action and desire, Uranus is awakenings and breakthroughs. A sextile is an opportunity, although one we don’t always see at first glance. Perhaps with all the eclipse season ups and downs, there’s an opportunity for awakening and breakthrough.
