We reach the first-quarter moon, an important checkpoint in a story initiated with the new moon a week before. With its powerful opposition between Mars and Pluto, this is a lunar month to make a leap in our evolution. An Aquarius Moon helps to anchor us.
As I said before, the Moon is doing most of the talking this week in the absence of major aspects. Then again, we’re still working through the intense energies of the November 3 opposition between Mars and Pluto. The first-quarter moon gives us an opportunity to find our grounding, to reach for the familiar, to forge new connections.
That said, perhaps this pause, other than to integrate the energies of the new moon, gives us an opportunity to find our footing in advance of next week’s astrology. Saturn will turn direct on November 15, a major structural point for the year. We have a Taurus Full Moon, also on November 15, that will make a conjunction to Uranus. Pluto will also spend its final days in Capricorn, wrapping up a 16 year story and preparing us for a new era, one that will unfold over the next 20 years.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for November 8, 2024.
