It’s Aries Season! We kick off the astrological new year with the Sun’s arrival in the first zodiac sign. It’s a time of renewal, new beginnings, and new initiatives. With Mars in Aquarius, we take action for the future.
It’s been a bit of a watery journey the last few weeks with the Sun in Pisces alongside Mercury, Jupiter, and Neptune. But with the Sun now in Aries, we feel a spark of fire and a motivation to create.
So, what are we creating with this new energy? What needs Aries’s energy of renewal and rebirth? How we taking next steps forward — boldly, courageously, and perhaps a little impatiently?
True, Aries isn’t known for its restraint. It’s a sign that tends to want things swiftly, rushing into endeavors in a way that reminds us of the seasons’s heady bloom of life. As a result, the next few days may bring a rush or even a swift change of direction.
This will be compounded by tomorrow’s square between Mars in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus. It’s an electric jolt to the new season, one that pushes and pulls between two corners of our lives. We may need to break from the past.
That said, the Moon’s in Scorpio today, further placing an emphasis on Mars. We need to use this energy to not only renew, but to have the bravery to radically transform ourselves in this new astrological year.
