We start the week off with a Leo Moon, one that puts an emphasis on creativity and self expression, identity and personality. It also gets into deeper emotional material, getting to the heart of hidden motives, power, control, and even self sabotage.
That said, we’ve got some notable astrology on the horizon. Mainly Mars Direct on January 12 at 8 Gemini, which brings to a conclusion a two-month retrograde and review of how we use our Mars, which is to say, how we take action as well as our relationship with desire, motivation, and even the choices we make.
Mars has been spending a lot of time in the sign of Gemini — nearly five months so far, first arriving on August 20, 2022. And at the heart of this time is a need to communicate differently and to understand the power and impact of our words. What have we learned? Mars will finally leave Gemini on March 25.
Speaking of Mars, Venus and Mars get flirty with one another today in the form of a trine. While Venus and Mars are normally great for romance, this is better served for conversation and intellectual pursuits.
