The Moon’s in Scorpio and we reach the last-quarter moon of a lunar month that began with the December 30 Capricorn New Moon. It’s time to see the result of our actions and initiatives. Be open to new perspectives and horizons with Mars sextile Uranus.
January is often a month where we make goals and set intentions for the coming year. It’s not obligatory, but it’s often a natural way in which we use the energy of Capricorn Season and its ruling planet, Saturn, the planet of time, structure, and commitment.
While the Sun has since left Capricorn, we’re still in a Capricorn lunar month and the last-quarter moon is often a time when we see the results of our actions and gather the harvest of the seeds we planted.
That said, we’re still feeling the energies of yesterday’s powerhouse conjunction between the Sun and Pluto in Aquarius. I don’t use modern planetary rulers, but today’s Scorpio Moon picks up on themes that we often see paralleled in Pluto — transformation and rebirth, deep emotions and psychology, power and control.
Use a sextile between Mars and Uranus to open to new opportunities, new perspectives that help us to get unstuck.
