Mercury arrives in Pisces, a sign where the planet of thinking and analysis has to find its intuition. While traditionally not a sign that Mercury is at home in, it is an invitation to find compassion and to be a sympathetic ear. It also activates an upcoming eclipse.

As of January 11, the Lunar Nodes are in Pisces and Virgo, which means that not only are the eclipses in Pisces-Virgo in 2025, but our personal and collective arc of evolution follows along the lines of Pisces-Virgo, the helping and healing signs. Their archetypes are both opposite and complementary, such as leaps of faith versus grounded practicality. But they link heaven (Pisces) and earth (Virgo). They seek to find answers, whether on this side of the veil or beyond. They value healing — body, mind, and soul.

We’re only a month away from a lunar eclipse, a Virgo Full Moon at 23 degrees on March 14, and eclipses are inflection points that occur every six months. With Mercury now in Pisces, Mercury dynamically pulls at the eclipse because Mercury is the ruler of the upcoming eclipse. It makes for a point of tension in the sky.

Mercury will make a conjunction to Saturn on February 26 and then will reach the eclipse degree around February 27. Lunar eclipses in particular mark events and transitions. We may even see a turning point in late February, activating Pisces-Virgo themes of compassion and caring, duty and service, practice and accountability.

If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for February 15-17, 2025.
