Last day of Mars in Taurus, a sign it won’t return to until 2024. With so much happening in the fixed signs right now — Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius — today may be a check in on our relationship with money, income, stability, and resources.
Starting tomorrow, Mars arrives in Gemini, where it will uncharacteristically remain for seven months. That’s because Mars will turn retrograde on October 31, winding its way back until January 12, 2023, and not leave Gemini until March 25, 2023.
If Mars is action, drive, and motivation, then its time in Gemini is a push to speak, share our point of view, get curious, and explore. Mars is fuel, so everything Gemini related — education, travel, information, communication — gets a boost.
During the retrograde period, however, we can’t shoot our mouths off. We have to reflect on how we’re acting, thinking, and going after. We need to bring a deeper awareness to what we’re actively choosing.
As we go into the weekend, Mercury in Virgo opposes Neptune in Pisces. Things may not be what they seem. Or, you may have to find the balance between the analytical and intuitive, spiritual mind.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for August 20-22.
