Our lives may still be shifting and shaking as we step out of eclipse season this week. Maybe we saw a dramatic turn in the last four weeks or so or we’ve made some big decisions.
We’re not only coming up not a lunar eclipse this week, but we’re seeing a rare alignment between Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn. Plus, Uranus turns direct! Yes, the universe is packing in a lot of transformative energy into one week.

We start the week with a Pisces Moon, one that points us back towards Jupiter in Capricorn. It’s a day to quietly reflect on the year we’ve lived while setting new goals for 2020. Also there’s five planets in Capricorn right now. We’re stepping up our game in 2020.
Happy Capricorn New Moon! Happy solar eclipse! This is the time in the lunar calendar when we focus on career, ambition, responsibility, achievement, and powerful new beginnings within these themes.
Moon’s in Virgo, which means that it’s a day to focus on projects and wrap up any loose ends as we come to the end of 2019. Even though we’re not in Capricorn Season yet, it’s still the perfect time to get a jump on our resolutions and goals for the new year.
We’re wrapping up Sagittarius Season this week, the sign that inspires us to explore, search, and discover the world around us. It’s also a sign of big ideas and, as we prepare to go into Capricorn Season, we need to commit to making these ideas a reality.
The Moon moves into Gemini and activates Mercury in Sagittarius. We’re on the go today, getting out into the neighborhood, exploring, hopping in the car, or even planning a trip abroad. It’s a full moon week, so the energy is loud and engaging.
We go into the weekend with a Capricorn Moon, one that’s focused on getting things done as well as working towards personal goals and ambitions. We also have a check in with Saturn today, too. Set healthy boundaries. Spend time on what you really value.
Our busy week of planets changing signs and directions continues. With Mars now in Libra, we’re motivated to focus on relationships and connection even more. Normally used to taking the lead and getting its way, Mars now has to learn how to compromise.
Saturn’s still calling the shots, which means it’s a week to focus on our goals and what we need to build — or completely restructure — in order to reach those goals. But we’re still working on these deeper existential questions as Jupiter squares off with Neptune.
Saturn turns direct in Capricorn. It’s an important day to check in with our goals and ambitions. After all, Saturn sets a high bar for us and there are certain times of the year, like today, when we have to step up and be accountable for our actions.
