On July 4 we started a caustic lunar month that promised to show us our fears, the parts of ourselves that we’d rather not look at. Falling opposite Pluto, the new moon said that over the coming four weeks we’d be doing a lot of soul searching.

The past week has been tense to say the least. If astrology tells us what time it is then the new moon last Monday pointed the clock toward themes of shadow, messy truths, and a profound state of death and rebirth.
I’m having one of those days when I don’t know what to say. It’s not that there isn’t something interesting to share about today’s astrology, but it seems a little myopic to talk about the Sun and Pluto, Venus and Chiron when the world is clearly on fire.
