Whew! Yesterday’s Aries Full Moon was a doozy. It pressed buttons and hit on some touchy subject matter. In the end, the full moon pushed us to say “no” to something. Maybe it was a relationship or a level of behavior that had long since worn out its welcome.
Happy Aries Full Moon! This is the time of the year when the spotlight is on action, initiative, leadership, and bravery. As the prototypical masculine archetype, Aries inspires us to strike out on our own and assert ourselves.
Let’s talk about this Aries Full Moon that’s clocking in early on Sunday. My good friend, who is an Aries, was baffled that I wasn’t talking about it more. And I was like, dude, I’ve been laying out the whole story this week. Here’s your recap.

We may be in Libra season, a time when we connect with the beauty and sweetness of life, but there’s been a chill in the air, a deeper undercurrent pulling at us. With Venus in Scorpio, Libra season has taken us through darker themes of power, sexuality, and shame.
The week opens up with an Aquarius Moon, highlighting social connection, community, and the wisdom that comes from seeing the larger picture. But as the Moon travels on this week, we’re getting closer to Saturday’s confrontational Aries Full Moon.
Mercury finally moves in Libra today just as the Sun and Pluto square off. First, Mercury is in new territory and more disposed to finding compromise or lending a peaceful word. Second, Pluto has a habit of dragging up stuff from the shadows — really deep, soul level stuff.
Mercury leaves its shadow today, capping off a rather intense Mercury Retrograde season. As the ruler of the Virgo solar eclipse on September 1, this retrograde hinted that we’ve be taking a look at our past choices around how we take care of our bodies and daily lives.

Over the next couple of days Mercury is going to do one of two things. First, it will get to the degree it occupied at the time of the solar eclipse on September 1. Second, Mercury will finally arrive at 29 Virgo, the very place it pivoted when it turned retrograde.
