Mercury and Mars clash today. We may feel a little restless or have a need to get something off our chest. Although this placement has a history of arguments and accidents. Mercury is still in Taurus. A lot of the potential conversation today may be around value.

Just a friendly reminder that Mars is still retrograde. I’ve heard from a few of you and you’ve mentioned that things are a little sluggish or unresolved. Keep in mind that Mars is fire. It’s action, command. Any planet in retrograde doesn’t have the same energy.

When Neptune is a strong influence in the astrology of the present moment — or even in a natal chart — you can’t do ego, you can’t do will, you can’t power your way through a Neptune transit. All you can do is surrender and let the current take you.

Mars is back into Scorpio, a sign it previously visited from January 3 to March 5. In fact, Mars will be back to the same degrees it was at from February 18 to the beginning of March. We will be revisiting something from that two week time period. Get ready.

As of this morning Mars is back in Scorpio. If Mars is action then Scorpio is power, invoking the forces of life and death, chrysalis, and resurrection. Scorpio is a look into the dark underbelly of life as well as the darkness within.

Let’s talk Jupiter and Saturn. In astrology these two planets help regulate our causal reality — aka cause and effect, aka karma. Jupiter is law, Saturn is order. Yes, we’re talking about abstract stuff here; we’ve gone way beyond the personal level, which is the dominion of the Sun and Moon.

Normally Gemini season is light and playful. It’s a youthful sign. But ever since Saturn moved into Sagittarius back in September, there’s been increased pressure on Gemini get serious. As we head into June, we’ll feel this pressure from Saturn to take a step up even more.
