Over the past few days I’ve been unfolding a story about Saturn as it approaches a hard angle to the Sun. Some of the words astrologers use to describe this connection are reality check, responsibility, crisis, and limits. It’s not an easy angle, but it’s a necessary one.
Yesterday I spoke of Saturn, a planet that represents maturity, responsibility, and achievement. Of all the planets, it brings a sobering influence, a sense that time is short. We’ve got to build the best life while we can. Today we’re feeling the pressure to do just that.
We’re less than a week away from a new season, which means we’re rounding out our time in Pisces, a sign that teaches us about compassion, empathy, and letting go. Yesterday we felt our emotional wounds courtesy of Chiron. Now we’re at a crossroads courtesy of Saturn.
Today the Sun aligns with Chiron, a point in astrology that reveals deep psychic and emotional knots. Falling in the sign of Pisces, the sign of the collective emotional body, what are you feeling. What pain? Suffering? How is it yours yet part of humanity’s? Open the knot.
