Mercury finally moves in Libra today just as the Sun and Pluto square off. First, Mercury is in new territory and more disposed to finding compromise or lending a peaceful word. Second, Pluto has a habit of dragging up stuff from the shadows — really deep, soul level stuff.

Mercury leaves its shadow today, capping off a rather intense Mercury Retrograde season. As the ruler of the Virgo solar eclipse on September 1, this retrograde hinted that we’ve be taking a look at our past choices around how we take care of our bodies and daily lives.

Over the next couple of days Mercury is going to do one of two things. First, it will get to the degree it occupied at the time of the solar eclipse on September 1. Second, Mercury will finally arrive at 29 Virgo, the very place it pivoted when it turned retrograde.
