As I mentioned in my September horoscopes, there’s a lot going on this month. Between the eclipses, Jupiter switching signs, and a few major alignments, September is a time to make a major decision, go in a new direction, or take the next step up in life.
Last week, on September 1, we had a potent solar eclipse in Virgo. As some of you know — or may have experienced yourself — eclipses tend to coincide with major events. Something may have even been “eclipsed” in your life.
Not only is September Virgo season, a time when we’re inspired to get organized, get healthy, and tend to the practical details of everyday life, but this September is chock filled with major celestial events. Let’s take a look.
What can we expect from a Virgo solar eclipse? New beginnings in health, how we take care of our body, our diet. We may need to purify our life, bring in new rituals, get sober, and get real.
We’re in the gate for tomorrow’s solar eclipse at 9 Virgo. Not only are we starting a new lunar month, one steeped in themes of order, service, purity, and pragmatic details, but we’re opening a bigger chapter that will hinge on the Virgo archetype.

With the Sun teetering on the edge of Leo today, we’re saying goodbye to the season of creativity, playfulness, art, performance, and expression. Leo was fun while it lasted, but now it’s time to get our Virgo on. PS — there are no such things as cusps!
