Things took a bit of a left turn. We may only be a day into Libra season, but Venus, the ruler of Libra, just went into Scorpio. Honestly, the two signs couldn’t be more different. If Venus in Libra has a natural charm, then Venus in Scorpio is direct and raw.
Im not sure what’s bigger news. The fact that Mercury is finally direct or that the Sun is now in Libra. Certainly a change of seasons is a marquee event, but — I don’t know about you — I shambled my way through a retrograde fueled Virgo season.
Today the Sun reaches the final degree of Virgo, wrapping up its stay in the sign of service, purity, and health. It’s been an interesting season, one marked by two eclipses. It’s safe to say that something has shifted, the terrain before us a little different.
Mercury is coming to a halt this week, preparing to turn direct on Thursday. As it does so, Mercury will grind through Pluto at the same time Pluto readies to turn direct on September 26. Translation? Don’t be surprised if something is powerfully revealed this week.
We’re coming up to the end of Mercury Retrograde this week, a time when things may feel as though they’re moving a little more slowly. As the planet of communication and movement, to reflect instead of take action.
Happy Pisces Full Moon eclipse! This is the time of the year when we turn the spotlight on compassion, forgiveness, and letting go. Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac. There’s a push to let go and reconnect to the cosmic waters from which we all came.
The Moon is in Pisces and we’re in the gate for tomorrow’s lunar eclipse. There is an electricity in the air. Emotions are running high. Our dreams are vivid but real life is hazy. A psychic storm gathers on the horizon.
As a newer addition to astrology, Chiron is a powerful, subtle influence that astrologers are only now incorporating into their work. But I think Chiron is often misunderstood, awkwardly labeled as the “wounded healer” does little to describe its function.
Edgy astrology alert. As the Sun rounds out its time in Virgo, it will form a square to Mars today. Although the energies of the Sun and Mars are perfect for leadership, action, and healthy initiatives, things may be a little wonky. Mercury is retrograde after all.
Overshadowed by Jupiter’s arrival in Libra was the last of three squares between Saturn and Neptune, two planets that couldn’t be more different. If Saturn is the physical world and our mastery over it, then Neptune is its slow erosion.
After spending the last year pushing us to work hard and grow through service — not to mention getting healthy and organized —Jupiter trades Virgo for Libra. If Jupiter is faith and wisdom gained through life’s experiences, then Libra will bring a leap to connect.
As Jupiter comes to its final hours in Virgo, we’re feeling the crunch — especially with the Moon in Sagittarius today. What do your need to clean out? What is your limit? Your boundary? What are you saying no to? Is it too late to start juicing?
