We’re in the dark of the moon. It’s a time to pull back from the world and prepare for the coming lunar month. Since Thursday’s new moon is also a solar eclipse, we’re on the cusp of major new beginnings, one that will take us into the next six months.

On my Facebook Live last night, which you can watch here or on YouTube, I talked about what eclipses mean and how they usher in a new time in our lives. Tomorrow’s Capricorn Solar Eclipse means that, over the next six months, we’re needing to get accountable about a certain part of our lives, if we aren’t already being accountable.

Think back to January 2019. What came into your life then? What new time kicked off? In many ways the solar eclipse on December 26 echoes themes or a story that began a year ago. It’s just the next chapter.

Capricorn’s a cardinal sign. It initiates and brings beginnings that may feel very different than before. We need to clear space in our lives in the coming months. We need to break down and rebuild and breakthrough old limitations. I’ll be talking more about this solar eclipse in my new moon report on Thursday, December 26.

Speaking of breakthroughs, the Sun trines Uranus today. Be open to flashes of insight and brilliance or new ways of thinking. Uranus helps us to break out of the mold and the Sun helps us to be ourselves.
