Yesterday we talked about Neptune and its supporting role not only in the astrology of this year — Saturn and Neptune have been in a long dance with each other — but how Neptune has been playing off of Mars as well. As a result, we’ve been diving deep into an existential crisis, feeling pulled in different directions, and searching for truth. Now that the Sun is in Virgo, this story will be present even more, especially as we get closer to the eclipses on September 1 and September 16 respectively.
Ever since Neptune arrived in Pisces in 2012, we’ve been learning about faith in the unknown, how to dive into the nonlinear, the subjective, the intuitive. When Neptune is involved, we can’t do ego. We have to come into harmony with forces greater than us or risk getting caught in the tide, the rising waters, or the illusion of reality.
The solar eclipse is less than a week away. Falling in the sign of Virgo, we’re going to have to get real about our lives, organized, healthy. Eclipses are imperatives, striking a new hour. Then again, with Neptune quietly calling the shots, we have to surrender some of the details and planning to something outside of ourselves.
As I said on Twitter yesterday, when Saturn (and Mars) are in Sagittarius, we may think we have the answers, confident in our truth, but Neptune is like, O RLY?
In other news, we have a sweet line up of Venus, Jupiter, and Mercury this weekend. Great for open hearted communication and giving. Yes, Venus and Jupiter together have a lucky reputation, but Jupiter is in Virgo. We will find opportunity and good fortune in serving others as well as tending to the details. Enjoy!
