Hi I’m Katie. I’ve been a consulting astrologer since 2010, working one-on-one with clients around the world to help them grow and transform using the framework of astrology. I’m also a psychic medium, which means that I use the birth chart to tap into the higher wisdom of the soul and the soul’s journey.
Astrology was always something I was interested in. I grew up in a house with a couple of 1960s-era astrology books and I even had astrology software on my computer in high school (this was pre-internet). But for a long time, as I often say, astrology was my party trick. It wasn’t until my first Saturn Return at age 29 as well as some personal upheavals that astrology became an invaluable tool.
For me, astrology helped me to have a language of what I was going through and a map to find my way out. It gave me a sense of “why” to the time that I was in. I saw the inner workings of something larger within my own chart. There was such a sense of discovery that it led me to deciding to become an astrologer to help people through similar transitions and beyond.
Astrology gave me my first real sense of purpose and it reflected my own astrology’s desire to help others.
In addition to astrology, I also teach classes in Energetic Sciences for Mercia Academy, which is the study of the influence of energies in our lives, consciousness, and something called the Weft — the sixth element and the invisible fabric that connects everyone and everything.
Before becoming a full-time astrologer in March 2019, I had a 20-year career in IT and graphic design. I was an art major who went onto building and designing websites and book covers. Originally from the Washington, DC area, I lived in New York City from 2004 to 2024, “temporarily” relocating back to Maryland to help out with a sick parent.
