A retrograde Mercury squares Mars in Leo, the second of three squares that will take us into early December. If Mercury is how we think, listen, and communicate, then we may be feeling impatient and perhaps a little argumentative. Seek a higher perspective.
Mercury will be retrograde until November 13, retracing its steps throughout the sign of Scorpio, from 20 to 6 degrees. This stretch of the sky corresponds with events, decisions, and even conversations that we had from early October. Use the retrograde to gain new insight and to do the necessary research. Mercury in Scorpio has a talent for finding hidden information.
That said, the Moon is in Cancer as we start the weekend, a sign that heightens the emotional sensitivities of Scorpio Season. Since the veil is thin and Cancer governs over the home and family, we may have passed loved ones on our minds, just in time for Halloween.
By Sunday, the Moon will be in Leo, activating the energies of Mars and Jupiter in Leo. We may feel motivated and driven on Sunday to take action, to reach for our ambitions, and to go after what we want.
