The Sun in Libra makes its yearly opposition to Neptune, a day that blurs the lines between this world and the next. As a result, we may be feeling more sensitive than usual, our dreams more vivid. Neptune is always a call to transcend the lower aspects of ourselves.
Neptune isn’t an easy planet to understand because it works in the intermediary. It’s atmospheric and, much like the Moon, Neptune is felt in the subtle ebbs and flows. Unlike the Moon, Neptune is an evolutionary planet so it works as a catalyst for growth and evolution, pushing us to go beyond. Sometimes we have to find ourselves in Neptune’s abyss before we can rise to the light.
What deep emotions do you feel coming up? The strength of Neptune is to help us to get out of our rigidity, like the current of a wave pulling us elsewhere. Be flexible, but also stay grounded.
Saturday’s Aries Full Moon is on the horizon, which will be a showcase for the energies of Neptune in Aries as well as Saturn in Aries. Plus, with Mars in Cancer, there’s a lot of emotional energy getting stirred up. In particular, the Saturn opposition in the energies of the full moon may demand important decisions, milestones, and even endings.
