Mercury in Libra makes an opposition to Saturn in Aries, a focal point for our experiences this Virgo lunar month. If Virgo Season is about putting things in order and tending to our daily duties and responsibilities, Saturn makes for a reality check today.
In astrology, Saturn is our planet of checks and balances. Something is either working or not working; there are no gray areas with Saturn. Are we running into a boundary today? Seeing our limits? Or, are we feeling a push for accountability? To create structure? The seeds planted at the time of the September 10 Virgo New Moon demand attention.
Saturn is also playing a larger role in our experiences this lunar month. While today’s Mercury-Saturn will come and go, we’re only a week away from a powerful Aries Full Moon on September 26 at 4 degrees, one that will spotlight the energies of Saturn in Aries and the work we have been doing since February 2026. That said, with the Moon in Capricorn this weekend, best to use this energy towards getting projects done, especially anything around resources and assets. We may also be tending to financial matters as well.
