The Cancer Sun squares off with Neptune in Aries, an aspect that can unmoor, fatigue, and confuse. That’s because Neptune blurs the boundaries between the world we can see and the world we cannot see. In doing so, it can also open our hearts and our compassion.

If you recall, Neptune has only been in Aries a few months this year, arriving on January 26 to begin a 13-year residency in the sign. While we may still be cluing into what Neptune in Aries means for us, it’s a planet that acts as an evolutionary force in our lives, ultimately helping us to open and transcend ourselves, to find empathy and forgiveness for others.

Of course, we’re human beings. It’s not always so easy to have empathy. But today may be a time to push past internal resistance.

Note that we’re in Cancer Season and Neptune may amplify some of Cancer’s natural emotionality. We may be navigating our feelings today as well as the feelings of others. Also note that this square brings us back to the March 22 conjunction of the Sun and Neptune, the start of a year-long cycle.
