The Astrology of September 8, 2025

Fresh off a Pisces Full Moon lunar eclipse, emotions may be running high. Eclipses can hit on deep points. They can also coincide with personal events, transition points, and sudden shifts in the narratives. The seeds are planted that will play out into 2026.

Yesterday’s lunar eclipse is part of a series of eclipses going back and forth between Pisces and Virgo into next year, two signs that spotlight our earthly and spiritual lives. There’s a physicality to Virgo, a need to pay attention to the details. It’s our day-to-day duties and responsibilities as well as our health and wellness. Pisces, on the other hand, is the search for meaning and purpose, our need to find peace, and to let go. (Read Pisces Full Moon: Hope)

Eclipses push archetypes and energies into the forefront, both personally and collectively. So, in 2025 as well as 2026, Pisces and Virgo will be key areas of focus. We may need to organize and clean out. We may need to prioritize our health and wellness — body, mind, and soul.

That said, we’re in a liminal space this week and next, all in the run up to the September 21 solar eclipse at 29 Virgo. The time between the eclipses are a time where one space of time makes way for another. Take note of what is happening in your life and how it ties to a bigger story.

If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for September 9, 2025.
