Coming off yesterday’s Aquarius Full Moon, there’s a lot to unpack in the sky, namely a square between Jupiter and Saturn, two giants in the sky that build our world around us. We’re weighing big choices. We’re navigating ethics, faith, and commitment.
Yes, we’re still in the buzz of an Aquarius Full Moon, a sign that speaks to community and connection, systems and networks. It helps us to have a larger view of the world as well as a vision for the future. We’ve been acculturated to think of Aquarius as outré, an outsider, an agent provocateur, a hippy with grand ideals. Perhaps this is part of Aquarius, but a lot of how we think of Aquarius comes from the 1960s.
Don’t forget that Aquarius is ruled by Saturn, which is to say that Saturn holds the energy for the sign. Saturn is the planet of time and organization, cause and effect, karma and fate. If Saturn and Capricorn, Aquarius’s sister sign, builds our physical world, then Aquarius builds society and humanity. It spreads ideas as much as it builds around a common cause, goal, or political ideology.
Speaking of Saturn, Venus and and Saturn faced off during yesterday’s full moon, an opposition that demands commitment. We may be reevaluating our relationships or how we connect, interact, and socialize with others. It’s a prelude to the October 2 Libra solar eclipse to come. Make note of relationship things that have been brewing over the last week. We may be revisiting them over the next month and into October.
As an update, I’ve been traveling in Europe the last two weeks, which is why I didn’t post content last week, including my newsletter, and instead did a video update for the weeks of August 12-18 and 19-25. I get back from Rome tomorrow and will be on a normal schedule the following week.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for August 21, 2024.
